The Photo-cooperative
The photo cooperative creates a place for young photographers to have a studio to learn, test, and to call their own. Nothing is more frustrating to a photographer than when the client asks, “Where is your studio?”, and you do not have one to show them. A studio is very costly and can be a huge financial burden without the client base to support it.
Mission statement: The photo-cooperative, has been developed to allow photographers a place to learn, train, shoot and legitimize their business.
The student the cost is $300.00 per month. The professional cost is determined by Photographer’s needs, per month.
This includes:
- Access to all equipment. With the exception of Cameras
- Access to all props, backgrounds and walls.
- One client photo shoot.
- Ability to test (when space is available).
- Access evenings and weekends.
- Access to all seminars and training events.
- Personal one on one training.
- A studio to put on their cards and website.
- Reduced rates for studio rental once the one photo shoot with client is completed
This is a six month to one year, contract.
There is only room a limited amount of photographers. Space will fill up fast.
As stated above, this allows the photographer a day to shoot with a client. Any more than one day will be 20% of job.
Client shoot days are lost if not used during that month.
Studio rental
The studio is available for rent on a first come first serve basis.
- ½ a day is $350
- Full day is $600 (10 hour day)
- This cost includes full access to the studio, hair and makeup room, kitchen, and all props and walls.
- Strobe lighting is also included. No hot lights are available at this time.
- Camera and computer usage are extra.
